Friendly staff, 3 minutes walk to the beach, a nice and quiet area.

Everything was great, really… my only improvement would be to be given more food at breakfast ! ;)

the hotel is very nice and well cared for. it is only a few minutes walk from the beach and the shops. the staff is extremely friendly and helpful and the breakfast is absolutely exceptional.

the only minor improvement could be that the property has no bar. but the water is free (great plus!) so bring your water bottle!

this is already my second visit to the Max hotel, I come here because everything is perfect for me, the quality and service are always on top, varied tasty breakfasts, the location is a short walk to the ocean, daily cleaning and always really fresh bed linen

The staff is very friendly, the rooms are big and clean, breakfast is really nice and the location is perfect (2-3 min walk from the beach). The hotel helped us to arrange day trips and taxis a lot cheaper than anywhere else.

Good place for that price! Helpful staff, amazing breakfast, very good location. I will back after my safari trip, because my stay with Max Hotel definitely was perfect!

We visited this hotel in late August/beginning September and paid 90$ per night since it was supposedly the high season (it was not). The truth is the the bad quality of this hotel doesn’t justify this price no matter what the season. Hotel surrounding: hotel is located on a dirty and a dusty road, definitely not a pleasant walk to the beach. Hotel facilities: For 90$ a night, a swimming pool is a standard. Breakfast: supposedly several breakfast options, but several items were unavailable several days in a row (e.g. no avocado for 3 days, no hash browns on another day, etc.). Breakfast coffee looked like and tasted like decades after its expiration date. What is more, I had a chance to see inside the kitchen and I wonder if basic hygiene standards are maintained (actually I doubt). Room: We were given a room with no privacy behind the reception with a window directly to the common area, so everyone could see in our room. There was only one light in the room and the light coming from the hallway was disturbing our sleep and we had to turn it off each evening, because the staff didn’t think about such a detail. The mattress was very hard and made it more difficult to get proper sleep along with the early-morning prayers and light coming out of the hallway. Furthermore, there were no electric sockets next to the bed and we had to charge our phones on the table. Bathroom: Water taps have not been cleaned for ages (I have a photo), door starting to get rotten (I have another photo) and the shower was not separated from the rest of the bathroom, which means I could not taken a shower without overflowing the entire bathroom. Wi-Fi: It was so weak that it took me 30 minutes to send a single mail and I couldn’t open larger files from the internet even when sitting next to the router. Mobile data didn’t work either in the hotel.
