Hotel Arena Azul

I had two separate stays here, before and after my trip to Coqui. Dona Bertha was kind enough to store my luggage when I was gone. She's very pleasant and this is a very comfortable place, close to everything but on a quiet side street so you won't be disturbed by loud music like in some of the other hotels

Excellent! Comfortable rooms with powerful air conditioning, which is often a rarity in this part of Colombia. The hotel is on a very quiet street but still only 5-10 minutes walk from the airport, the tourist pier, main commercial street etc. So you can be close to everything but not suffer from the extremely loud music that is a fixture of more central areas. Doña Bertha is a very pleasant, helpful and hardworking woman who is the owner, the receptionist, the cleaning lady and more and does everything with a smile. She even kindly agreed to store one of my backpacks for a few days when I went to Coqui. Very happy with my stay here, and highly recommend it!

clean, good location, best place to stay in Nuqui by far. host was absolutely amazing. she helped with payments, tips, calling tuktuks and a lot more!

nothing, sometimes electricity was cut but this was in the whole town and is to be expected when you go to such a deserted place of Colombia

Rooms had mold on the ceiling and walls and smelled damp. Room was dirty, there was rubbish on the floor (lollipop sticks). At checkin breakfast was phrased to be included in the price, however it was charged at the end and rather expensive (20 mil/breakfast). Bread included in breakfast was moldy. When we mentioned it to the manager she just said „ok“, no apology etc. Very unprofessional in any hospitality. Wouldn’t recommend!
