Hotel Mitru

Bright spacious room, great central location. Very clean and they serviced the room each day if you wanted it. Loved that there were teas and a kettle available at all times for hot water. Pool was refreshing (ie a bit chilly) but lovely for little swim!

WiFi pretty shocking throughout the whole properly; I had to work online during my stay there and it wasn’t good enough so had to pay to use more of my own data (despite trying the various different options). We had to keep asking them to top up breakfast items (eggs and bread) as it wasn’t done proactively. Breakfast selection good though when it was brought out 👍🏻 8% charge on the credit card! Unfortunately we had to use this option as our card wouldn’t work at the ATMS in town! Annoying but a reality. I’ve rated it a high score though as overall it was a lovely place.

Centrally located. Good breakfast and nice pool to relax.

Receptionist was not very friendly. Beware although it is mentioned on booking.com the currency for payment is USD, they conveniently have no change in USD. The change is in bolivianos at a rate of 7 while the official rate is 7.5 and you can get 10 anywhere else in the country (as USD is more stable and they prefer this). Unfortunately we had no time anymore to get more bolivianos. Bit sad they want to make extra money by exchanging below the official rate and far below the real rate.

A great place to take a break. Cozy room. Nice pool. Spacious well furnished common areas. Secure covered parking for our motorcycles. Delicious breakfast. Located a few minutes walk from the central square.

The town around the hotel is pretty bland.

Lovely room, good wifi and great breakfast. Also offered early check in without additional fee. Currently got some major construction going on, but continually apologised. Walk to bus station.

There was no elevator, but they are currently in the process of extending and putting one in, so should be good going forward. Pool looked a bit murky.. and was very cold! Tour offer to Uyuni Salt Flats was very expensive (compared to what we actually bought in Uyuni)
