Last Minute Deal @ Hotel Sunset

This was my second stay at Hotel Sunset Orchha. I returned because I had liked it so much the previous year. Mr. Mahipal, the manager is incredibly helpful and cooks a delicious breakfast. It's a very quite place with a lovely view of the Orchha from the roof terrace. The rooms are spacious and clean. I will probably return each time I stay in Orchha.

The family who run this are really lovely people. Very helpful and tried hard to ensure our stay was comfortable. The room was basic but served its purpose. They ensured we had a kettle and tea and coffee in the room. There was a TV which we did not use. Wifi was good.

The bathroom was not clean at all. The walls were covered in dirt that had built up over time. Taps and sink were not clean there was grime on it. The air-conditioning in the room made an awful noise constantly.

We stayed several enjoyable nights at Hotel Sunset Orchha The location is great - just steps from the temple with a super view of the town, sunrise, & palace. Small stores, restaurants, transport, neat walking opportunities, attractions, tour guides are closeby. Aniket & his family are kind, helpful hosts. They accommodated our arrival change and late departure. We loved the breakfasts on the roof - and evening beer - all at a good price. Our room was sparsely furnished, but large and clean, comfy bed, hot water, ceiling fans, good wifi Overall a good value and experience. We'd stay here again.

One of the best hotels ever!! I won't be forgetting this stay anytime soon. I've had the time of my life at Sunset and eventhough I haven't left Orchha yet, I can't wait to come back. The location is super convenient with lots of great options for food and activities nearby. The terrace is absolutely gorgeous, super picturesque- especially at sunrise! And the rooms are clean, spacious and so comfortable. With incredible natural light! I can't remember ever having slept so peacefully on a hotel bed. If you're looking to make friends, look no further. My time at Sunset has been so special to me. The staff in particular has been the highlight. They've been so helpful and attentive, and will go out of their way to make sure your every need is met. They' re truly special and I'm glad 1 get to call them my friends now. Thank you for everything Hotel Sunset, I'l be back soon!
