Les Orchidées , Hôtel & Restaurant

Hôtel was relaxed and had a nice feel about it. The staff were helpful and friendly. Our superior room was spacious and comfortable. Hotel served a good breakfast and we had dinner there one night which was very nice. Lovely to have the option of eating dinner outside. Big private car park and a short drive to the WW1 sites.

We were unable to use our patio as it was still under construction. It was being done when we first arrived, but no progress was made over the following 2 days. No patio furniture either so we couldn’t sit on the grass. There was no information provided re hotel facilities and as some staff spoke limited English, this made it tricky.

Freundliches Personal, gute Lage für eine Durchreise. Die Zimmer waren Sauber, die Betten bequem.

As an overnight stop it served its purpose. A little out of town and near to what I would say was an industrial estate but the hotel itself was in pleasant grounds. Room was clean and tidy (we were in a disability room) Breakfast was serve yourself but there was lots of choice.

The staff member who checked us in was a little abrupt but perhaps that was due to the fact a large party had checked in prior to us and it was a very hot day 🥵.

Es war heiss in ganz Frankreich - ausser dem Speisesaal verfügt das Hotel über keine Aircondition - wir sind mit unseren offenen Cabrios nach 14.00 angekommen und die Tagescrew am Empfang und Tresen hat uns nicht einmal ein kühles Getränk angeboten un unsere überhitzten Körper ein wenig abzukühlen ! Das haben wir noch nie erlebt und ist eine Schande !
