Hotel Landluft

A small family run hotel with lovely rooms and a good traditional restaurant. The mother was friendly and charming. I spent more time talking to the daughter who speaks excellent English. She is also perfect at customer service, mainly by just being herself. She is absolutely delightful, with a great sense of humour, and has real conversations not just small talk to please the guests. She is really lovely.

Only two things - the WiFi didn't work in the room, though was fine downstairs. Not a problem really as I just used my mobile internet. At breakfast I was hoping there might be rollmops as you sometimes get with a German breakfast :))

The lady who speaks in English is hilarious. Her English is perfect and a big pleasure to have a chat with her :)

Every thing was perfect… facilities, staff, meals.

This is real Germany! The hotel oozes charm from the front door. The proprietor made me feel like family from the moment I walked in. They even have a cute little resident dog to greet you. I ate dinner in the restaurant and it is authentic old school German. The half timber beams and German music playing softly in the back ground are like a hug from Oma. I had the Zander Filet (fish) and Rote Gruetze for desert. Both very good and very classic. My room is cozy and welcoming, complete with a little bag of gummi bears on my pillow. The bathroom is newly renovated and done in a modern but complementing style- quite swanky actually! If you are coming to see Hameln, the city of the Pied Piper, do your self a favor and stay here and go into the city for the day. This is REAL Germany! "Sehr Gemütlich"

This place is located not too far away from Hamelin in a quite and pictures town. The rooms are clean and functional and have nice terraces nested in a beautiful garden. The restaurant is highly recommended and well worth a try. Good value for money!

Only ate at the restaurant on this occasion but stayed at the hotel a number of years ago so know this place pretty well. The food is fairly priced, plentiful and cannot be faulted as it is always top-notch. Some outside areas look a little tired around the edges but this has never effected the standard of service provided by the family who own and run the establishment.

Fantastic family run hotel in the middle of beautiful countryside. After struggling to find the hotel (don't put in the postcode in sat nav) the hotel was a welcome find. The bedrooms are beautifully appointed and spotless. The daughter of the family speaks impeccable English and could not do enough for us. The restaurant was authentic serving great traditional food. I was particularly impressed by the seasonality of the dishes. We were visiting a car show in Hessisch Oldendorf and booked a hotel with a short lead time. I thought the hotel was a little far away but it was definitely worth the extra minutes drive. We will definitely be visiting again and telling others about this hotel.
