Morningside Hotel

I liked everything about this property, from the time we arrived everything was perfect, the host Paul & his family couldn’t be more helpful, breakfast was the best I’ve had in a hotel so much to choose from, rooms were very clean and had everything you needed. Parking on site and just across the road was the beautiful sea.

There was nothing to dislike

Breakfast was delicious. We had the full English and it was cooked to perfection. The hotel and room were spotless and nicely decorated. The host and his daughter were very sociable and very accommodating. We would definitely stay here again.

The only thing I could say is the bed was squeaky and the mattress was a bit soft and lumpy.

Very nice, comfortable, new-like room with wide windows, offering a stunning panoramic view to the see. Very friendly staff. Excellent breakfast. Perfect location, the first line to the see, 20 minutes walk to the town center.

Immaculate hotel. Room was spacious. Fresh milk was in the fridge in the room which was very welcome when making a hot drink. Nothing was too much trouble.

The breakfast was fabulous, very good quality and choice of menu. The food was piping hot and the staff were constantly asking if you would like a top up of coffee/tea/juice. The buffet selection also had great choice. Definitely value for money

Paul and his family were so lovely. It was like home from home. Beautiful accommodation. Breakfast amazing. We had never been to Whitby before but will definitely go back but only if this accommodation is available. We stayed over the Easter weekend and there were 2 Easter eggs on our bed when we got back from breakfast. Top marks 👌
