Spring Hill Hotel Ruteng

Clean modern room. The hotel is in the style of of a mini European wooden cottage. Very charming. Ruteng itself is cold at night, due to its high elevation. A nice place to stay and rest before moving on to other places.

After a couple of underwhelming budget stays in LBJ, staying at Spring Hill was such a relief. It’s such a relaxing and tranquil place in a quiet area of the city, surrounded by a nice garden. Rooms are in a sort of bungalow style and well curated, the bed and shower were some of the best we had in Indonesia (and finally, a non-smelly bathroom). Breakfast was great, they even had Nutella! Adjacent Chino-Indonesian restaurant was also nice and great option if you’re checking in in the evening and don’t want to head to the city

staff is definitely not helpful (unable to find a driver). Don’t ask them for anything beyond the hotel….

The breakfast was really good! Also, the room was amazing and very neat. All facilities are there and Spring Hill Hotel has some really nice and helpful staff.

At booking you aren't warned that the hotel is located next to a party room that is continuously busy for weddings, baptisms and other. However in the room there is a big sign warning you about it. Therefore they hide it from you at booking whereas they know the hotel is really lowdy. Music was loud until 5 am we didn't sleep from the whole night. Moreover we told them we were coming for our honeymoon and booked a deluxe room asking for a double bed but we got two single beds. The hotel is so full they miss out on clients demand and care. Last but not least, we were really cold. There was a window located so high that we can't reach it which was opened bringing cold air the whole night. Bad lights in the room. Very few electric plugs.
