Hypnos Hotel

Super friendly host. Excellent English, very helpful. FABULOUS family room, large double bed & bunk beds in one room. We had a fan which was a blessing as it was 30 degrees at 10pm!!!! A sofa (looked like a pull out bed) in the other. Huge luxury bathroom, separate toilet. Great location, loads of parking around... didn't even bother looki g for the hotel carpark. Beautiful town but Sunday evening is very limited for food. Would 100% reccomend, would travel out of my way to stay here again.

Having to leave so soon. Would want to stay longer

Staff and owner were very helpful. We liked the private parking which was useful and well priced. They would help with restaurant reservations. The use of a small equipped kitchen to prepare and eat own meals was useful. We are planning to book next year as an en route stop off. It has a fascinating decor.

Le lit trop petit pour un couple d adultes habitués a dormir ds un lit de 160 , le rideau de la fenêtre pas assez occultant au lever du jour et chambre chaude car pas de Clim mais c était le mois de mai avec une météo inhabituelle et bâtiment de l hôtel ancien

Comfortable hotel in the centre of town with good breakfast and friendly staff.

We were travelling by bicycle, and I had messaged to ask whether there was secure parking for the bikes. I received a reply saying yes. What it didn't say, and I discovered on arrival, was that there was a charge of 5 Euros per bike for a night - the same as for a car. Looking back on reviews, I now realise that this ludicrous charge has been policy for years, despite complaints. If I had been warned of this, I would have booked elsewhere. They should be encouraging cyclists, not ripping them off.
