I have booked 2 standard rooms, one for me and my husband and the other for my inlaws. Unfortunately the booking got confirmation for 2 standard rooms with single occupancy. I tried to rectify it through the Booking.com application but was unable to do the changes and I was asked to connect with the property to do the changes. I contacted the property and they said you can only do the changes via booking.com As the price was written as 2100for double occupancy I thought there would be no issue. But when I reached the hotel on the day of my booking they said I have to pay 1600 extra for each room i.e 76% of my room original room tariff. We have to request for 1 hour to negotiate the extra charges and had to pay 1300 for one standard room and one deluxe room. That was such a pain for us after an 11 hour journey. On the to of this the service was also not up to the mark.The ac was not working, The lock was also not working. There was water leakage form washroom tap. I haven't expected such bad service from a hotel associated with booking.com I am a regular user of booking.com but such service really disappoints us. Looking forward to seeing some strict action from booking.com
