We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The property is housed in a beautifully preserved old building, and the architecture and exterior views are truly charming and full of character. From the outside, it feels steeped in history and has a lovely, calming presence. The rooms themselves are quite spacious and comfortable, though simple. Ours did not have windows or natural ventilation, but it was well-equipped with both air conditioning and a fan, which kept the room comfortable throughout our stay. The amenities were basic but thoughtfully maintained — a large mirror, kettle, and bottled water, all of which were refreshed daily. The double bed with a spring mattress was very comfortable and ensured a good night’s sleep. The property also has a small swimming pool, which was a nice bonus for relaxing after a day out. There is no in-house restaurant apart from breakfast service, but breakfast was a highlight — a good variety of local dishes served each day, giving us a chance to try something different every morning. What truly made the stay special was the staff. Everyone was incredibly helpful, cheerful, and genuinely welcoming. They went out of their way to recommend places to visit, explained how to get around, and were always happy to assist. We were especially grateful that they allowed us to stay beyond checkout time when our flight was delayed — a gesture that really showed their kindness and flexibility.
