The Historic Leakey Inn

Cute little area, queen studio room perfect for a single or couple. Bed was comfortable. Our family stayed about 7mi from us, and there's no service but this area! So if you need to have service during your stay this is your best option.

Noticed you had to shower late night to get hot water. Absolutely no hot water in mornings.

Cozy room and plenty of nice folks in town! Nice little get away and hang out with good people!

Cute and clean rooms. Loved the pool area and live music. Peaceful and tranquil setting.

Bathroom in room could use some updating. Would also prefer more bedding as we only had a bed spread with no top sheet. But, I'm sure we could have requested that. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would recommend it.

We like that it was close to my friend's funeral.

They have this list of rules that they want you to follow. It made it seem like they wanted us to clean the room before we left. Like it almost felt they wanted us to provide the maid service. They only provided three towels and if we wanted any more we had to exchange them. There was four of us so we didn't have enough towels for all of us. I was happy that we planned ahead and brought our own towels which by the way were much better quality than the ones they provided. Parking was a joke on the first night they had a live band playing there and we couldn't even park in front of our room. I'm disabled and I use a walker and it was very difficult for me to walk about 50 yards through dirt and gravel just to get to my room. Our room was blocked by staff and the performers.

The proximity to Garner State Park in Lost Maples was perfect and a great homebase location for visiting this beautiful area

The shower needs to be updated - it kept leaking on the floor
