Viscri 32 - White Barn and Blue House

Everything. From the moment you pass the gates you are in your own little oasis. There are no words to describe how much this place was exactly what we didn't know we needed. The vibe, the staff, not to mention the room and garden (with its adorable cats and dogs that kept us company), everything is a whole mood

This place was really peaceful, cute and rustic. We enjoyed the dinner, breakfast and walking around the village.

We stayed in the twin bed room. The beds were really hard and the bathroom smelled like sewage. The welcome to the place and dinner service were not very warm. We had the same feeling walking around the village. Only the tourists were friendly. The ladies serving breakfast were very nice though.

There was no way to completely darken the room we slept in. The access road is a bit difficult to walk.

The staff were nice, the restaurant was very good and the room was authentic.

The amenities were poor(no slippers, no conditioner, no toothbrush, no shower cap), we couldn’t unpack our baggage because we had no place to deposit our clothes. The room and the bathroom were small.

Such a fun unique clean place to stay! We loved it traveling on dirt roads to get there.

My husband and I have visited Viscri 32 for lunch or dinner on several occasions, but this was our first time staying overnight at the barn—and it did not disappoint. The food, as always, is delicious and made with local ingredients, but this time we also got to experience the charm of the beautifully designed rooms and the peaceful sleep that comes with the village’s quiet atmosphere. There’s a lovely remote path from the garden to the parking area—don’t miss it, it’s a really nice walk. We’ll definitely be back for a longer stay.

Just a general observation about the village, not the accommodation itself: for those looking to truly enjoy the peaceful charm of Viscri, I’d recommend avoiding bank holidays if possible—weekdays are even better. While the village is very well organized and everything is within a 5-minute walk from the parking area, many tourists still park along the main road, which unfortunately takes away from the beauty of the traditional houses.
