Ringachan Guest House & Restaurant

I spent three nights at the guest house and had a very good experience. The owner was super friendly and helpful in organising tours to nearby sights. The location of the guesthouse is very conveniently located close to the main road and nearby a lot of cafés and restaurants. The shower had hot water as well which was very nice. For the price I paid I got really good value and would stay here again if I were to return to Skardu some day.

My room smelled somewhat of cigarette smoke.

It was near the famous fort, and the host was very nice to us, and accommodated us well, plus we got the complementary breakfast. I think the room and services are very good for the price.

My long time favorite place in Skardu for my past year in Gilgit Baltistan; impeccable and faultless family style and elegant rooms, located in Muhib chowk a few minutes walk from the main bazaar. A family-run and perfectly managed by Naqeeb, the youngest brother in charge and the real gem here . The responsible young man for the friendly family style vibe, respectful and always helpful, showing great care and solicitousness to host his guests and managing the place to a great standard, adding an even greater value to what is already a smart option to stay at. Highly recommended

Kind, welcoming and helpful staff, good location, clean rooms. They serve also great breakfast and the staff always made sure you have everything, you are satisfied and happy. I highly recommend this play, it is definitely worth the money and i would say it’s the best hotel in the town

I had an incredible two-week stay at Ringchan Guest House in Skardu, and it was a highlight of my trip! The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, making it easy to connect with other travelers. I met two fellow foreigners here, and together we embarked on an unforgettable 700-mile motorcycle trip through the stunning landscapes, from skardu to desoi national park to china border, with the bikes seamlessly arranged by Naqeeb, the owner and manager. Naqeeb is an absolute gem—always available, genuinely caring, and ready to help with anything you need. His hospitality made all the difference. The guest house itself is comfortable and well-run, perfect for travelers looking to explore Skardu and beyond. Highly recommend Ringchan for its vibe, location, and Naqeeb’s exceptional management!

Delicious local breakfast. Location was great. Close to restaurants, shops and the main street.

Nice homely guesthouse. Staff is very friendly. Near the main road easy access to taxi services both cars and motorbikes. Recommended for budget travellers. Great views of the surrounding mountains.

Breakfast menu needs more options.

I felt like at home. The staff especially the manager/ owner was amazing. He did everything for us to feel happy. He took me to the bus station early morning free of charge. Moreover, he helped me exchanging money for a good rate.
