Nix war zu beanstanden

room was so clean and useful, bed and pillows were comfortable. breakfast has quite good i can say, there was different kinds of options. Staff was so nice and helpful. Especially the receptionist men was so welcoming. Location was great. It is just nearby the train station but also close to the Centre.

We chose Sitges because it is around ~1h from Barcelona by train and not that crowded. El Xalet is situated few minutes walk from the train station. It is a renovated villa, clean, beds are comfortable, bathroom is also quite new, room is very big. Windows are also new, it reduces the noise from the street really well. Staff is really helpful. We tried the breakfast, too, it is great.

Just one thing, but unfortunately it is important: as it is an old building, you literally hear everything through the walls/entrance door. It was really disturbing when someone arrived back to the hotel at 1 am, speaking loudly, shut the doors, clomping up to stairs - like animals sometimes. So this is rather a critics towards the other guests... Overall it was quiet, but I believe the hotel staff should bring people's attention to respect each other and keep the noise down, especially during night time.
