Nice clean comfortable room. Modern facilities, clean, nice comfortable bed. Excellent breakfast. Good location

WiFi signal low (the access points throughout the hotel need to be increased). Broadband measured in our room between 0.4 and 2.8 Mbps (not enough to work or watch libraries at night).

Location was excellent and the hotel team were very friendly , welcoming and obliging .

Was a little noisy as our room was facing the main road.

The staff were delightful and took pride in their hotel which opened in 1935 and has been run by the same family ever since. The swimming pool is a good bonus.

Room 209. Luckily we were upgraded from the room we booked because the aircon was not working. The second room (109) was larger and nicer (thank you friendly staff), and did not have a bad stain on the curtain as the first one had, so it is the first room I have marked here. At breakfast they could only offer me Nescafé when I asked for decaf coffee.
