The room was beautiful Decent breakfast Helpful and kind staff

Nice room, comfortable bed.

Bad ventilation in the room. The air was heavy an very warm in the night. No ski room where we could dry the ski boots.

The breakfast was quite good, waffles a nice touch, eggs and bacon quite good.

Improve the juice and the coffee!

Bed’s were comfy and room was warm. Shop below being convenient along with car charging points opposite.

Location: The listing mentions a bus to the ski centre, but this involves walking over a bridge and into the end of town (10 mins at-least - which no one does) with buses running only once per hour. Fortunately, we had a car, but be aware that you’ll need to pay for parking at the ski center (which is fine). However, don’t be misled into thinking you can walk there—it’s an uphill trek of over 30 minutes, which is completely impractical, especially with kids. Don’t bothering going into the town over the bridge as you will struggle to find any restaurants open, the Chinese we found was probably the worst I’ve ever had. If you are looking for a desert restaurant, you need to head back to the ski centre via bus, car or a lengthy walk. Room & Cleanliness: In the five days we stayed, our room was never made up once, and we had to request fresh towels. There was no Kettle in the room, and the plug socket was falling off the wall in the bedroom, also a space for a Microwave, which had been removed. While the hotel might argue we should have reported this, basic housekeeping should have caught and addressed it, both during our stay and when preparing the room before arrival, albeit room was clean when we arrived. Ski Facilities: This is far from a proper ski hotel. We had to store our skis and boots in a side storage room, which lacked boot warmers or any real ski-friendly amenities. Parking: If you don’t secure a space at the front, you’ll have to park around the back and then walk back to the entrance down a steep, icy incline—far from ideal. Room Comparison: Our friends stayed at the same time, and their room was noticeably more spacious, even featuring a kettle (which we ended up borrowing). Final Verdict: If you’re planning a ski trip to Trysil, I’d strongly recommend choosing a hotel closer to the ski center. This one simply doesn’t offer the convenience or facilities you’d expect for a ski holiday.

Good service - we got an upgrade and the apartment was spacious and clean.

The location is close to the ski lifts (5 min driving to the car park, near the ski lift T2), the room was big enough to accomodate a couple, also the room was spotless and well-maintained, equipped with a mini fridge. The bed, pillows, and seating areas were comfortable. The Wi-Fi was fast, with excellent connection. The large-screen TV in our room featured an additional option to connect your phone or tablet via Chromecast, so we had access to a wide variety of programs online, allowing us to enjoy our preferred content. That is a massive plus, I would say, for people spending most of the evening in their room (not so many outdoor attractions in Trysil, after nightfall, unfortunately). The breakfast was a buffet style, with something for every taste. It was neatly arranged, and everything was kept clean. It was a great stay and the staff were very friendly. We intend to return at this hotel in the near future.

The shower cubicle felt a bit too small, which made it somewhat uncomfortable and claustrophobic. It would have been great if more attention had been given to its size during the hotel's recent renovation.
