I'm traveling from Japan, and Thusis is very convenient for sightseeing as both the Bernina Express and Glacier Express stop there. it is very difficult (and expensive!) to find accommodations with parking in Chur and St. Moritz. So I think we made a very good choice. The hotel was very clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. There is also a restaurant where you can eat on a terrace with a very nice view. Spacious communal areas and gardens, super comfortable beds and rooms although a little sparsely decorated, interesting art, great facilities, super dog friendly and polite and efficient staff. The restaurant was fantastic: superb food, a highly entertaining waiter and a delicious breakfast too.

Last order at the restaurant was 8pm which is too early.
