Parking is available at the lower station, and a luggage shuttle is available from the upper station to the hotel. The last luggage shuttle is at 18:00. A deposit may be required at the property.

The location is great, the staff was friendly and welcoming and the food was great (both dinner and breakfast). We will definitely come again.

"OK but..."

Breakfast food was adequate. The hotel was very clean. The staff are attentive (over-attentive though with prematurely putting away breakfast). I liked the white wine soup with air-dried beef. The air is very crisp and the pathways are well-maintained.

On the day of our first breakfast, the staff had already put away the food by 9.30am. Breakfast was stated to be til 10 am. Staff provided breakfast after we requested it but I did not like the idea of not choosing the food myself. On the 2nd day, we made sure to be there before 9am in case they prematurely put away breakfast again. The many goats provided a bucolic scene but the many flies did not.

One of a kind location. Fabulous breakfast included. Effortless walk to get there. Great starting point to hike to Riederalp the next day.
