Arrived and bar still open but weren’t serving any kind of food and wouldn’t even make a sandwich for incoming guests. The kitchen had closed two minutes before we arrived. We were given the wrong room. The hotel did refund the difference once we’d pointed it out. They offered on the night to move us but we’d lugged heavy suitcases up two flights (the porter didn’t help with luggage despite appear not busy) and no elevator. By the time they offered to move us we were settled in. We were meant to be in the suite. Room was very dated and low grade toiletries and dated tea and coffee amenity in the room itself. TV small and dated. Breakfast only served between 8 and 10 meaning we couldn’t avail of it as we had to be at work the next day. We let the porter know this and there were no other options offered for early breakfast. We travel a lot and by hotel standards 8am is pretty late for breakfast. The hotel had the feel of being run for itself and its staff rather than for the guests.

Room not as described, view of concrete wall and bins and 2 foot wide alley. Poor breakfast arrangements for €15 each. Wasn't ready at time specified, coffee not available until 8.20am, not asked if we wanted tea, food very slow coming out and at every other hotel I have been to where you pay that much for breakfast its usually cooked to order and waitress served not 2 teenagers one of which didn't know how to put the filter coffee on. All in all a very disappointing stay for €170 for one night. Will not be returning.

The staff were so friendly and the room so clean Food was tasty and service in the restaurant was pleasant
