Hotel Alle Alpi

Il servizio ristorante è molto migliore di quelli che solitamente propongono gli hotel con ristorante: questo è un vero e dalle ristorante all'interno di un hotel. Il parcheggio nella piazza antistante, sebbene a pagamento fino alle 18.00 e dalle 08.00, permette di lasciare tranquillamente l'auto per tutta la notte.

Non mi piace in generale sia la moquette nelle camere che la tenda nella doccia, ma capisco le situazioni in cui ci sono entrambe.

The property was within walking distance of the ski lifts and easy to find. The room was a comfortable size for two people and the view from the balcony was nice to wake up to. Ski storage was available and staff were accommodating. Breakfast had a lot of options and was convenient.

The shower curtain in the shower did not hold any water in so the floor was very wet around the shower and toilet. No other issues.

Strongly recommended, the hotel is situated in the town square, in a gorgeous, renovated 100-year old building with plenty of character, which neighbors the church. The well-maintained balconies offer amazing views of the town square, Lake Alleghe, and the surrounding mountains. The rooms are fairly small but very well designed and outfitted (also haunted, according to my kids). Very helpful staff and a pretty good, always full restaurant on-site. The place seems to attract a slightly older crowd.

The ultra-central location comes at a price: the hotel is located right on the main highway, the road noise can be significant in some rooms, and parking close-by is a nightmare. Mind you, for €10 extra the hotel offers very convenient parkade parking in the proximity, but until you sort this out you will need nerves of steel negotiating traffic and parking in restricted areas. The town of Alleghe is tiny and there aren't a lot of things to do in walking distance. Constrained by the architecture of the old building, the bathrooms are small and the shower cabins are tiny.
