Cuscungo Cotopaxi Hostel & Lodge

Absolutely everything in this place is amazing. The place itself is beautiful. They are so helpful and incredibly nice. It’s very clean. The shower is warm. The fireplace and the chill area are amazing. The food is tasty and really made with love and they take care of any allergies you might have. Basically if you have any wishes they organise it. We made two tours organised by them and both were great. There is water, tea and shampoo for free. There are enough towels and they really think of all the details.

Personnel super gentil et très efficace. Dîner copieux le soir pour 7,5 dollars. Très bon petit-déjeuner. La vue sur le Cotopaxi depuis la pièce commune est tout simplement splendide, en particulier àla lumière du soleil couchant. Il y avait même un feu ouvert à partir de 17h et le thé en accès libre. On nous a proposé une visite guidée du Cotopaxi à la journée (notre guide Adrian était top) pour moins de 40 dollars par personne tout compris. C'était super bien organisé. Très chouette expérience.

Un peu isolé. Pas super facile d'accès même si les explications étaient très claires. Les photos sur le site sont un peu photoshoppées. Il y a des lignes à haute tension et des exploitation agricoles (culture de roses) qui prennent un peu de la vue sur le Cotopaxi. Mais franchement c'est tellement beau qu'on oublie vite. Douche chaude mais pas non plus "très" chaude.

Everything was great. The owner and staff were superfriendly and helpful. The view is wonderful. We booked a great Cotopaxi tour. My kids played with the Lamas. We had a wonderful time. Easy to reach with the bus from Quito

We had the best time in Cuscungo! The hostel is very nice and gave us a family vibe. They offered nice tours with friendly guides. The food is amazing and the view even better! The staff is so kind and helpfull. This was our favorite hostel so far in Ecuador!

The hostel was absolutely amazing! You could see Cotopaxi from the common area if the weather was nice. The hostel helped me book a horseback riding tour, which was so beautiful and an amazing experience. The breakfast had a variety of fruits, bread and eggs. I also had dinner there, it was such great value for the money and a great place to meet other people while enjoying a delicious meal. I can highly recommend this hostel, I will definitely come back here. Thank you so much for the awesome and friendly hospitality!!:)

The hostel is comfortably located close to the main highway. Free water provided on daily basis, clean rooms, also some shared space on the first floor where other travelers can be easily approached. The staff is very attentive and friendly :)

It does get cold during night, a small heater would be a nice solution in emergancy.
