Good location with very nice surroundings.

When we arrived, they provided us with normal room, where I booked the room 3 months in advance, and clearly asked for disability room (as my husband have disability) with walk-inshower, they said that the room already occupied by another customer 🤔 . After determination, we ended up with room that the shower still above the bath (I know, the bathtub lower than the normal), so every time my husband needs to have a shower, I need to help him incase he slip over the bathtub. We really hope that next time, anyone booking a room with disability facilities, the hotel should have an honest answer whether they have the room or not! and give the room to the correct customer that made the booking.

Comfortable beds, beautiful surroundings, great food

breakfast and staff were lovely and helpful. The beds are a bit old but ok. Overall it was a lovely stay

Lack of lift. My husband has Parkinson’s and by end of the wedding night , he was very tired to negotiate the stairs and long corridor. I can’t remember if we were given an accessible room option or availability. Not sure if it’s a listed building which would prevent this adaptation. Would love a hot chocolate drink option in the refreshment tray !
