Umah lumbung bedugul

Very tranquil little guesthouse with only a few cabins, away from the main road. The staff are very friendly, they let us check-in earlier and even brought the breakfast to our cabin. There is a parking, restaurant, a swing. Very close to the Bali botanical gardens (5 mins) and walkable to the Ulun Danu Beratan Temple (20 mins).

Was a bit noisy in the evening, as the neighbouring house is right outside the bathroom wall, which is partially open-air. Felt a bit odd to use the bathroom while the neighbours could hear everything. But this did not spoil the whole experience for us.

A bit dark room, could use more lighting

The rooms were very clean and big. The bed was comfortable. Outdoors shower was a nice touch. Fridge is the room. Fan working like crazy, even dried our clothes. The breakfast was really good for "free" hotel breakfast, which was a lovely surprise. The staff and the owner were very nice.

The location is a little bit difficult if you plan to stay more than 1 night. Finding a taxi there (but also most of Bedugul) is rather tricky. The only thing about the place I don't remember is the scooter we rented there, and the old, beaten Scoopy. Getting to the rice terraces eith was a challenge.

Location is good for visiting the nearby waterfalls and rice terraces early, before most tourists get there.

This is more like glamping than a hotel. The room is very basic, there's not even a fly/mosquito net, which would be helpful since it has no ventilation besides opening doors. The worst part is the VERY weak shower, which is outdoors. It gets cold trying to shower in the evening, and having the hot water disconnecting on and off every 30 seconds. I'd stay a bit farther south of here, in a nicer homestay, for less money and with better room amenities.

Too much noise! at 8.00 pm and 4.00 am religious praying events has held everyday. Couldn’t sleep properly. The host should have mentioned about that before make a booking. The pray took a while over an hour.. Too much flies ..
