We loved this place so much, that we extend our stay several times. The staff is extraordinary amazing and the house itself reminds one of a museum rather than a guesthouse. The whole area is beautiful with attention to detail and is keep well maintained! The breakfast is outstanding and there is warm water.

Bring A LOT OF Moskito repellent 😉

- Very friendly and and helpful staff - Late check-out offered at no extra costs - Nice estate - Good breakfast, served at the veranda of the room

- Room darkish and a bit damp - Air-condition too loud to be left on at night, even with ear plugs (the ceiling fan was working rather silently, though) - Equipment/appliances are old / not in best condition

Lovely guest house with excellent breakfast. Had a room secluded in a separate house in the beautiful garden. Everything was very clean and well prepared for the guest.

Mattress and pillow seem a bit worn off comfort wise

Ari and Chandini, the hosts, truly made my stay in Bentota exceptional. Their commitment to my comfort and safety, coupled with valuable travel tips, greatly enhanced my overall experience. Chandini's culinary skills were a highlight, providing the best Sri Lankan cuisine of my trip. I am grateful for their hospitality, as they genuinely made my Bentota visit memorable. The property is also stunning! The beautiful garden, ponds, and the array of plants and orchids added to its charm.

This was a beautiful property a little out of Bentota town. The garden is stunning and the hosts (especially Ari, his brother and his wife) are really helpful and kind. The food was delicious. I would definitely recommend and return on my next trip! Book this is you’re looking for a relaxing stay waking distance to the beach and main part of town but removed enough to let you wind down!
