"Felt like a home away from home, we had the best stay."

Manuel (the owner), was the most incredible person we have met so far on our 5 week trip in Mexico traveling, he really made our stay! Manuel was so kind, always made sure we were settled and happy. we got to use amazing mountain bikes for free around the island and he told us all the best places to visit. we extended our stay because it was so homely and we (us 3 girls) felt very safe staying there. there’s a beautiful courtyard garden outside the rooms and in a great location on the island near everything. The beds were very comfortable and the room overall was very clean with air conditioning, tv, fridge, table and en-suite bathroom. it is a hidden gem of the island! India, Phoebe and Alexandra :)

"OK as a base - a basic room in a great location."

The location is great and there was a communal kitchen. The room smelt quite musty but the air con worked well. The staff I met were friendly.

Everything is a bit shabby and rundown, but that is why you are paying less. It is fine as a base to go exploring from. Be prepared for the mosquitoes - all of the reviews on here warn about them.

The location is great and our host Manuel gave us a warm welcome, giving detailed input on all the best spots on the island.

Our room was not displayed on the pics, so I can't really say for the rest, but our was a bit worn out; old equipment, some holes from old electricity connections on walls and some TV cables hanging around. Bathroom is also quite shabby.

"Fine for an overnight if you aren’t spending much time inside"

Nice lush courtyard and great location. AC also great. water was hot even though shower head scattered the water.

Upon entry, the space smells bad. I burnt palo santo to mask. Also mold on the walls, and on some of the pillows.
