friendly and polite staff good breakfast options nice view

hotel and room furniture were quite old and somehow smelly there were ants in the room 20 EUR cash only deposit for the parking remote changing the pool towels is 3.5 EUR really limited private parking without the possibility to book in advance

When I visited my friends who stayed in Roca Mar in March 2024, I liked everything- the room, the interior, the location.

In December 2024/Jan 2025 I stayed in Roca Mar 12 nights. 2 times had to change the rooms because it was not possible to live there.

"Best views but needs renovation"

Best location and views in Caniço. Exceptional relaxing areas by the sea.

My room was old and simply too noisy. I didn't like its location, impossible to relax there. Breakfast quality is borderline. Overall, I'm a bit disappointed..

The hotel is located in a beautiful location. We had a balcony with a fantastic view of the ocean. We enjoyed coffee and the view from our balcony. Our room was very large. I was very surprised by the size of the room. The bed is comfortable. We are also satisfied with the cleanliness. The toilet and bathroom are large enough and spacious. The breakfast room is large with a terrace overlooking the ocean. The breakfast is varied and always fresh. There are several restaurants and smaller ones near the hotel. supermarket. Car parking is good. I rate this hotel with the highest rating and I am very happy to recommend it.

"totally would come back"

Amazing experience, we loved it! It’s a complex of three hotels united, we were in the Royal Orchid, which is freshly renewed (the other two are not) the facilities are amazing and the view is stunning. Staff is also friendly!

it would be best to renew also the other two hotels, now there is a quite relevant difference and the experience may vary a lot depending on the room you get
