CAPlace was well maintained and modern. Everywhere was super clean. Sisters, Carman and Marta were super helpful providing info on what to see in Bacular, where to eat etc. The breakfast they provided each day was exceptional!,
Honestly there is not one thing we did not like about Casa Zazil nor is there anything that could be changed.

We contacted the owner on Monday if she could help us with renting a boat for Wednesday and in reply we received yes. When we arrived on Tuesday it appeared that is is not possible to swim with a boat on Wednesdays due to regulations of Bacalar lake.
ECThe two owners are very nice and even asked us what we would like to eat for breakfast, they made it even vegan and changed it every morning! Furthermore they explained us a list of activities in the area which was really helpful.

IEWe really liked the property. It was within walking distance from the bus station and 10 mins walk into the centre. It was quiet, beds were really comfortable. It had a safe in the room, good air con, powerful shower & filtered water available in the reception area. The two ladies in charge were really helpful & tailored our breakfast to suit our needs. They even gave us a lift into town one evening. We loved Bacalar & our time here 😊
DEDelicious every day changing breakfast. The two owner Ladies were very helpful. They gave us even lifts to town or the bus station. Location is about 5 minutes from the bus station but quiet at night. Good AC and WiFi. Distance to the center is about 15 min, but taxis will take you for 30 Pesos.

NLspacious, clean, comfortable and the sisters running the place will accommodate all your needs (breakfast was different and personalized every day)
for us everything was perfect, however for people who do not have their own wheels it might be far from the center (1.5km)

We knew it before, it is easier to have a car since it takes some minutes to the center.
SII cannot praise this accommodation enough. The owner was so kind. She explained everything to us on arrival - what was worth seeing, what the prices were, what restaurants she would recommend. Even though she didn't speak English, she did her best. The location is great as we could walk to the city centre. The room was wonderful! Large and very tastefully furnished. The bathroom was also great. Everything was very clean. But the best thing was the breakfast! So delicious and every day we got something different. We were so happy with the accommodation (and the city) that we stayed an extra day.
