Red Lion, Wigan by Marston's Inns

Good little location. Breakfast was great, staff very nice and room was very clean and tidy. The only drawback was the room was fairly noisy at night from above and from the road due to old windows. Also rads and heating system made plenty of noise but didn't even heat up, so I didn't sleep too great. But overall very good and I can't complain for the value.

This is a lovely location with clean comfy rooms. As a single female traveller I felt safe and secure. I didnt eat in the pub or have breakfast but I would definitely stay again while travelling. A rare find

Location, cleanliness, fantastic breakfast and the staff are brilliant.

Loo seat would not stay up in order for the loo to be used. Did report as we checked out.

The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The food was of a high standard and the bed was super comfortable.

Nothing to complain about.

Really friendly, remembered I had stayed there previously - nice touch.

TV only had 1 channel (BBC 1) and picture was unstable,
