Hotel Neckartal

The hotel was easy enough to find. The Mc donalds, Aldi some restaurants and a fuelingstation are closeby. The parking space is located bhind the hotel and is spacey.The room , allthough seriously outdated and in dire need of some update, was clean and otherwise ok. The beds were comfortable The entrance is fresh and modernised recently.. The breakfast was another surprise.. The room was fitted for buffet breakfast, but only our table was set with a selection of bread and orangejuice. Later 1 etagere per person with cheese, ham , some small fruits was served. Not entirely sure where to put this.. It was not bad at all, but also not super.. really strange

The hotel has a sidebusiness as caterer and for some reason they found it nessecarry to block the main entrance of the parking with one of their trailers.. Upon arrival one of the employees, possibly the owner, was busy talking to an utillity engineer and was not at all interrested in his guests.. I would almost say "rude" .. The next morning breakfast was dealt with by an elderly lady and she was very kind indeed. The rooms have VERY thin walls .. so be warned . Our room had no ventilation apart from the bathroom ventilator and a window that could be opened I find 129€ per night for an outdated Garni Hotel a bit much , even with todays rising prices
