Gloria Maris Hotel Suites and Villas

The location and views are amazing, the pool area is nice and the vibe of the hotel is quiet. The food was great. However everything else was a shambles.

The check in was late, I was only staying for 1 day so I had to sweat in my airport outfit until they finally checked me in after a long morning of travel. Other guests were also experiencing this issue. They eventually checked me in 2 hours later. The reason for the delay was that the room wasn’t cleaned and they couldn’t get staff. I asked again and again if the room was ready and each time they told me to wait 30 more minutes. They eventually showed me to my room so I could change into more weather appropriate clothes as it was really hot so I was upset to begin with. On check in, the room was not cleaned it was dirty with hair still in the shower, water marks on the shower screen, as well as dust all around the floor. The blinds were also broken. I upgraded to a sea view room but they placed me in the worst sea view room, which had a partial sea view on the ground floor, with staff cars parked in front of the view (gardeners / cleaning staff) as well as a view of a metal scrap heap. When they showed me to my room they didn’t even give me a room card for the lights / electricity to switch on I had to request it. I couldn’t get a towel for the pool area as they had ran out. The public toilets near reception area were disgusting and unclean. I was also made to feel uncomfortable at the beach bar as there were temporary staff hanging around the bar staff not doing any work, the bar staff were getting irritated and arguing and it ruined the vibe. Overall I wouldn’t stay here again, I only stayed for 1 night and I felt sorry for those who had booked for longer. The management and service needs a serious review, once they get that right this could be a really nice hotel. Otherwise it was probably the worst experience I’ve ever had at a hotel.

Het uitzicht was prachtig, duidelijk dat we daarvoor ook betaalden. Het zwembad van het hotel zelf was ook heel mooi. Echt een vakantie vibe! Het personeel was ook heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Er waren hier en daar mankementen maar het personeel heeft er wel alles aan proberen doen om deze mankementen op te lossen.

Eerste zicht was het niet proper. De plinten van ons balkon lagen los en waren kapot, er werd een welkom matje opgelegd om het te verstoppen maar dit maakte het nog gevaarlijker om te vallen, er was rond het bubbelbad veel roest en het bubbelbad zelf was ook niet proper. Ook lag er nog los glas op de grond van de glazen rand van het balkon. De douchekop zat onder de roest en de wc was “proper” gemaakt dit werd aangetoond door een lint rond de wc bril waar gedesinfecteerd op stond maar toen we de wc open deden waren er nog resten stoelgang in de wc. De deurklink van de wcdeur hing ook los, je kon de deur niet met de klink toetrekken of de klink viel uit de deur & de kledingkast had ook haken die eraf waren waardoor je deur niet kon openmaken. Bij aankomst in de kamer stonden er ook nog glazen en een assenbak met resten op ons balkon.

Immer das Gleiche zum Frühstück, Snackbar fehlte immer etwas. Überall etwas kaputt oder rinnt. Holzliegen, Hahnen, der tropft, Türklinken die fast abfallen und praktisch überall um das Hotel ein Buff.

The rooms were really nice and clean as well as the whole hotel. The breakfast was delicious with a lot of variety. The staff was super nice.

I would not recommend booking a hotel transfer through the hotel. We booked it in advance and gave them our arrival and departure time. We were told that someone will be waiting for us with a sign, however no one was there to pick us up. After calling someone, they sent a driver to us. Similar thing happened when we left Zakynthos: We talked to the staff the evening before the departure and settled a time for pickup. And again in the morning at said time, no one was there (as it was very early there was also no one at the reception) so I had to call someone again. This was very unfortunate but the staff was still very nice and helpful when I called them.

Pas d’ascenseurs petit déjeuner peu varié

Séjour reposant adult only, le personnel du petit déjeuner est très serviable et gentil ! La vue sur mer est incroyable, les chambres sont très bien.

Une des clientes avait un problème assez grave dans sa chambre dans la nuit, nous sommes parties l’aider ! il n’y a pas de réception de nuit et la manager a mis 40 min à arrivé et être très désagréable face à une cliente en larmes. Je pense qu’elle doit apprendre à gérer ce genre de situation, et aucun remerciement pour les autres clients qui ont aidé et perdu une nuit.

La stanza mi è piaciuta molto, specialmente la vista

I drink costavano più dei pasti, i cocktail da 12 euro sono passati a 15 euro , costi assurdi in quanto li paghi 10 euro massimo 11 in Giro e persino in spiaggia, non sono in grado di gestire il bar infatti non c'è mai nessuno peccato perché ci sarebbe piaciuto fermarci ogni sera , ma con questi costi come noi la gente non si ferma

Posizione fantastica belle camere

Struttura poco curata con manutenzione piu attenta potrebbe essere splendida.Questo specialmente per quanto riguarda gli spazi esterni....area piscina ,accesso al mare ecc .
