A wonderful find in Con Dao just a stones throw from the ferry pier. Beautiful beach location in lovely gardens. Great rooms, clean and simple, good aircon and a lovely shower. Amazing location right on the beach The bar and restaurant served wonderful food and amazing cocktails The staff were all so kind and friendly especially Tom and Vi. We don’t want to leave!!

If you want to be close to the beach without paying outrageous prices, this is the place for you! We got a family room with a sea view and for AUD $100 per night, it's a straight 50m walk through the garden to the beach. Great having a restaurant/bar on site, you can order your drinks and have them delivered to the sand. Free transfers to and from the airport.

As per the description, it's a 2 star place because of the basic facilities. The airconditoner worked fine, but not so much the hot water or TV. There was body lotion and shampoo, but no hand soap. Note also that being close to the beach means you're further away from the town (about 15 mins walk).

Das Hotel überzeugt vor allem durch seine traumhafte Lage: Direkt am Strand gelegen und gleichzeitig mitten im Zentrum der Stadt – hier ist wirklich alles bequem zu Fuß erreichbar. Besonders praktisch ist der Anleger für Schnorcheltouren, der sich direkt nebenan befindet. Im Vergleich zum benachbarten Resort ist das Hotel deutlich günstiger, was es zu einer attraktiven Wahl macht. Die Zimmer sind zwar eher einfach ausgestattet, aber das fällt kaum ins Gewicht, da man die meiste Zeit ohnehin unterwegs ist, um die wunderschöne Insel zu erkunden. Das Personal ist ausgesprochen hilfsbereit und kümmert sich um alles – ob Roller, Shuttle zum Flughafen oder Transfers zum Hafen, alles wird unkompliziert organisiert. Auch das hoteleigene Restaurant ist ein echtes Highlight: Die Speisen sind sehr lecker, es gibt auch eine gute Auswahl an vegetarischen Gerichten sowie frische Smoothies. Insgesamt ein perfekter Ausgangspunkt, um die Insel zu entdecken – mit toller Lage, gutem Service und einem sehr fairen Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis.

It was incredible. The beach was stunning and right there. The flowers were beautiful. Lots of interesting wildlife too. The food was amazing as we're the staff. Very easy to walk into town and see museums and the local life. Didn't want to leave.

Do remember long sleeves and trousers if you want to visit the cemetery.

Nach Wechsel des Zimmers offensichtlich Wanzen im Bett...überall am Körper juckende Stiche. Hotel umgehend gewechselt. Die Rezeptionsdame wollte es als Sandfliegenstiche abtun. Am Strand keine Liegen; nur verkeimte Styropursäcke.
