Hotel Villa im Steinbusch

Sehr reichhaltiges Frühstück. Nette Wirtsleute. Gute Lage, direkt am Kurpark. Helles Zimmer im 1. Stock.

The owner is very kind and welcoming. He knows a lot about the area and is happy to help. The hotel is an old charming villa and is located right along the main road within walking distance from bakery and shops. The info center is just down the road as well as the train station. Hot water is fantastic and the rooms are very decent sized and comfortable.

Nothing, all was good.

Beautifully presented old style hotel in the most beautiful spot in Germany. Our hosts were so welcoming, helpful and friendly. I can't wait to have friends experience what we did. AAA+++

Only minor things such as perhaps a small bar fridge and kettle to make coffee in our room... would have been pleasant.

Quiet and cosy place. Good parking possibilities for free.

Villa im Steinbusch is an old established hotel and the physical facilities are what one would expect. The room was an excellent size with a balcony. Everything very clean. The hotel itself had considerable character. The breakfast was excellent. It was mainly 'continental' (with a good range of high quality foods available) but a soft boil;ed egg was also offered (and was good!) Our host was outstanding. Spoke fluent English and had a wealth of information on sights to see not only in the Malente area but also at our next stop (Hamburg). The location is a very short walk from the train station, main street - and the lake (and ferries).

The physical facilities in the room were not the most modern - but they worked! Plenty of hot water in the shower. We both found the beds rather hard and uncomfortable.
