Zugspitzhotel Diana Thörle

Such a gorgeous location and the staff was incredibly welcoming and kind.

We had a wonderful experience at the Zugspitz Hotel Diana Thörle. It was the perfect place to stay in Ehrwald for our short hiking trip. The hotel staff were extremely helpful and courteous — we've experienced such warm hospitality at only a few places. They arranged a lovely buffet breakfast for us, and thanks to their support, we were able to successfully complete our hike to Seebensee. They provided weather updates and helped us with planning, which made a big difference. As for the accommodation, we booked a two-room apartment with a kitchen and a balcony. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed. Sitting on the balcony and enjoying the breathtaking mountain views was a highlight of our stay. There’s a local bus service (refer to the pics attached) to and from Ehrwald town, but since it runs infrequently, it's important to plan accordingly. If we’re traveling through southern Germany or nearby Austria again, we would definitely love to return here.

The mattress was not comfortable.

We had very nice time. The room was very clean and equipped with everything that was needed. The staff were super nice and helpful. We had fresh bread in the morning and we loved it. Also the sauna and Jacuzzi was very nice and relaxing. Highly recommended!

Nice small hotel in a quiet place. Great views from the balcony. Just 10 minutes drive to a good ski area. Good sauna area.
