Golden Monkey Beach Hotel

Breakfast is a set menu with 4-5 options. I loved it. The coffee came in a mini French press and was always hot and fresh. The views are magnificent, and I never waited more than 10 minutes.

The WIFI is godawful and barely works in the rooms and common areas.

The view of the beach and sunset from the beachfront bungalows and the restaurant is absolutely stunning. It’s well priced and breakfast is very good.

There are just a few things that could be improved. There’s a real issue with ants, they are everywhere in the apartment. The black ants seem to enjoy the water in the bathroom, but it’s the red ones to watch out for as they hurt when they bite. I particularly didn’t enjoy getting bitten when I was in bed. Also whilst the dogs on the beach are very friendly, every morning from 4am - 6am they fight with growling, snarling and barking which is really loud, plus the cockerel are calling at the same time. Don’t expect to sleep through it. Also, one of the beach bungalow is not as nice as the others and is right next to the restaurant. The pictures on the site should reflect that not all beach bungalows are equal.

Estaba a 5 minutos caminando del centro por lo que tenía una vista preciosa a la playa. El servicio fue increíble y el desayuno espectacular.

Η τοποθεσία υπέροχη καθώς και ο χώρος μέσα σε όμορφα φυτά κ λουλούδια. Επίσης το προσωπικό ήταν ευγενέστατοι όλοι κ πολλοί εξυπηρετικοι. Ιδιαίτερα ευχαριστούμε για τη μεταφορά με το τουκ τουκ τον Regit. Καθώς και τις πολύ ευγενικές κ γλυκές ρεσεψιονίστ που σε ότι και αν ζητήσαμε ήταν πρόθυμες να βοηθήσουν.

Κάναμε πολύ κακό ύπνο γιατί δεν υπάρχει ηχομόνωση στα δωμάτια γενικά ακούγονται τα πάντα κόκορες γάτες κ σκύλοι που μαλώνουν πελάτες που μιλάνε κτλ. Το δωμάτιό μας ήταν δίπλα στο χώρο του πρωινού οπότε από τις 6:00 ακούγαμε θορύβους επίσης επειδή υπάρχουνε ζωάκια στο χώρο σκύλοι και γάτες το μπαλκόνι μας ήτανε χώρος ξεκούρασης για αυτά και θορύβων.

Cant beat the sunset view here, truly spectacular!

Very little sound reduction between rooms in the apartments.

We loved our stay at the Golden Monkey! The accomodation, the staff, and food were fantastic. The view was also exactly like the photos, if not better in person!

The wifi didnt work in the rooms but did at the bar and reception.

L’emplacement à 10 minutes à pied du centre d’El nido, dans un endroit très calme. Le point de vue sur la baie est magnifique. Le restaurant et le petit déjeuner sont très biens.

Pas de délimitation autour de la douche, aussi la salle de bain s’inonde complètement après chaque douche… Quelques remontées d’odeur d’égoût. Fuite d’eau au niveau des toilettes.
