Staff was nice, perfect location, close to everything. Breakfast was the best we had in the Philippines with the perfect view on the sixth floor. Room was clean. Highly recommended

fantastic massage at the hotel spa - honestly the highlight of our stay

Unfortunately, our stay at Bacau Bay Resort wasn’t a great experience. When we arrived, we asked about early check-in - fair enough, they couldn’t accommodate it, but they told us our room would be prioritized. We waited by the pool, but even an hour before official check-in time the room still wasn’t ready. Tired from our flight, we went out to explore on a rented bike, only to return later and be shown to a room right next to the restaurant extraction fan - super noisy and definitely not the “garden view” we had booked. After complaining, we were moved to another room with a garden view, but this one had no hot water. We reported it in the morning, and reception said they’d fix it during the day. They didn’t. That evening we had another cold shower before heading out for dinner. Only after we complained again did they say they had “rebooted the boiler.” Things went downhill again when I got food poisoning from the breakfast buffet on our last morning. We suspect it was the bacon. Most of the staff were friendly and tried to help, but the gentleman in the reception who welcomed us on day one in the 22nd of March promised to prioritize our room and clearly didn’t care - multitasking while talking to us and not paying proper attention. Overall, between the noisy room, cold showers, and food poisoning, we wouldn’t recommend Bacau Bay Resort for a stay in Coron. The spa is great, but everything else was disappointing.

It was a very satisfying accommodation. It was clean and the staff were friendly, and above all, the location was fantastic as it was close to island hopping tours and the city center. The breakfast was delicious, and I loved the view from the rooftop the most. If I travel to El Nido again, this is a place I would love to visit again. So nice place❤️ 완전 만족!! 객실도 너무 깨끗하고 직원분들도 친절해요. 좋은 위치에 있어서 호핑하기도 시내 구경 하기도 아주 좋아요^^ 조식도 맛있어서 두접시나 먹었어요. 엘니도에 다시 온다면 또 방문할 계획이에요❤️

Lovely staff, close to the beach, nice breakfast.

Power was unable to run both a shower and lights in the room simultaneously. Air-con kept cutting out and then not turning back on which meant waking overnight in a hot room. Would have been nice if the WiFi reached the rooftop bar/restaurant.

On the plus side the room was well proportioned and had plenty of cupboard space. The daily cleaning was very good with clean sheets daily. The bar/restaurant has a great view but not a place you would want to eat.

Overall this is a hotel charging 4 star prices and delivering 3 star (at best) service. There was very poor hot water. The shower would run hot for about a minute then run cold for 4 or 5 minutes. The toilet flush didn't always refill and the TV did not have cable/Netflix or indeed many local stations. Breakfast. This was truly a terrible experience. Beans emptied from can into the serving dish stone cold. The bread was not fresh and needed toasting. However there was only a single domestic toaster to cater for the entire hotel. Food choice and quality barely reaching 2 star. The egg station as often as not didn't bring your order to the table and over all the staff throughout the hotel (whilst polite enough) clearly had little or no training. To me it is a hotel with potential but spoilt by poor management and penny pinching.

Da einige Zimmer mit Blick auf die Schule und Festplatz liegen,sollte man aufpassen das nicht gerade irgendein Festival stattfindet.. tatsächlich fanden schon um 5Uhr früh musikalische Übungen statt...ohne Zweifel tolle Musik,aber nicht um die Zeit😜
