Hogs Back Hotel & Spa Nr Farnham

The staff are fantastic, especially the front desk staff. Beds are comfortable enough, the breakfast has good options. The pool is great when visiting with kids and my kids request coming to this hotel for this reason, but there were people in the pool just wearing their underwear so perhaps more vigilance/clarity from pool staff would be beneficial here. I was also conscious there were people there as part of a spa package - be aware if you book a package there may well be children there so perhaps not as relaxing as it could be!

Room wasn't serviced on our second day (not sure if that's expected or not), but could have done with refills of things like milk/water. Room service had a long wait due to an event on in the event space but the staff were great at recommending ways of getting a delivery etc

We've stayed here regularly over the last few years & good facilities, free parking & always a good breakfast

The main thing I don't like is cancellation fees...in fact its what really puts me off & pisses me off...sometimes they're maybe £30 the next day they can be £80...absolute bollovks why the price differs so much for exactly the same reservation. I think it would be a good thing for the hotel to reimburse the cancellation fee if the booking is fulfilled...otherwise its just another tax !!

It was nice and sunny so we could enjoy the outside areas

No air con in the bedrooms. Even in April it was too hot in the room. Tiny fan and tiny windows.
