Biohotel Eggensberger

Clean comfortable hotel in a beautiful location with excellent spa facilities. Plus points for us was tesla charger included in cost, we are a family of vegetarians and vegans and we're well catered for. Ate in restaurant for 3 meals, all excellent with great service. Staff very friendly and helpful. We opted for a balcony room for one of us which was amazing with views of neuschwanstein Castle and the lake and mountains. 2 other rooms were without the view but were large and comfortable.

No negative comments from us. Would recommend.

Breakfast was very good. Good selection of non dairy milk although sometimes supplies of food items ran out! Free taxi to and from station, plus Fussen card allowing free bus travel. Excellent shower and very clean bathroom.

Although allocated a table in dining room on first day, this wasn’t always set up for us - had a feeling they were a bit short staffed. Other guests had their names on the their tables, this didn’t happen for us until our final day! We would have welcomed a little help with our luggage and locating parts of the hotel when we arrived. Layout of hotel was a bit baffling too - would have been nice to have a lounge area to enjoy and meet other guests. Meet and greet didn’t address us at all - we accept it’s a German hotel but felt quite invisible! Kettle in our room would have been nice, particularly as the very hot water tap in Wellness area was a health and safety hazard! Breakfasts were great but we only had 1 dinner and we didn’t think it was worth the money.

Excellent food, friendly and attentive staff. Location, location, location!
