"The worst experience in a hotel in my entire life."

The receptionist's behavior was rude, racial, imposing, and unacceptable. 1) She was speaking a north Indian language in West Bengal and imposing that I should also speak the same instead of Bangla. Can a Spaniard go to London's hotel as a receptionist and only speak Spanish and disrespect English? 2) Not only that, she wanted the soft copies of my identity card and personal information to keep for a year. When I asked her to keep the signed black & white photocopy of my identity card but she started shouting all of a sudden & demanding her points aggressively and with disrespect towards Bengal. Now I can correlate how the mobile callers & internet scammers from north India usually get our numbers and financial information. 3) The rooms were quite large, and properties near the highway were enough to attract customers, but the bathroom and closet smelled like gutter. Couldn't keep clothes in the closet. Nice looks and big doesn't guarantee a good stay as the odor is also important. All the food items were also from alien places and expensive.

Hotel was clean and staff were polite.

The manager was arrogant and had attitude issues. Location was pathetic too far from city in an isolated place.

The location of the hotel is out of the town limit, most probably 7-8 Km away from main town. Breakfast quality was mediocre and number of items were less than expected.

South Indian items were lacking in breakfast. They may add dhosa, uttapam, bada etc as all are veg items and not costly, so may not add heavy burden on the hotel. The hotel may offer a small basket of fruits and chocolate in the rooms, as the practice is normal in most of the similar level of hotels. The rooms may have a mini refrigerator filled with paid items such as extra mineral water, soda bottle, cold drinks (2-3 types) etc.
