SUNRISE Hotel HA TIEN

Sunrise hotel was a bit of a high light on our 5½ week long trip this winter to Thailand and Vietnam. We stayed there one night before taking the ferry to Phu quoc and 4 nights on our return. In every aspect we had a wonderful time there, both before the Tet celebrations and after. The staff made an excellent job of making us feel welcome, especially one guy who unfortunately I cannot remember the name of but who even showed up at the reception to help us out with an issue, this taking place on his birthday when he was meant to be having a day off! So we owe him a lot of gratitude, also for being so sweet and kind to us all the time. About the hotel itself, everything was shiny clean and the room spacious with a nice little balcony where we could hang our laundry when washing up. There was muzac pouring out of speekers in the corridor outside our room. Not loud, just softly as to add to the general atmosphere of a three-star hotel. As opposed to the incredibly loud kareoke performances going on at the night market nearby well into the evenings, which is part of Vietnam's heart and soul and something we learned to appreciate as part of the exotic charm of this town. Also we greatly enjoyed swimming in the roof top pool with a great view into the sunset, but also the breakfasts which partly consisted of tropical fruits and partly of the traditional pho soup, bread and jam, Vietnames coffe or tea, etc. As part of their service we got to rent a scooter for two days so we could see all the surroundings, even two holy places up north close to the Cambodian border and one monestry to the west close to a public beach. All in all, Ha tien offers the real, authentic thing and isn't by far as touristic as Phu quoc, which is why we wanted to stay there for a while.

The staff were so friendly and helpful and always had a smile. The Duty Manager was very professional and always checked that everything was to our liking, he couldnt be more helpful and his english was extremely good ! Could not fault the service. Loved the rooftop pool

I really appreciate the staff and their services/advices. Cleanness is also to be mentionned. If I get back to Ha Tien, I would like to return to this hotel.

No complaints, for the price all my expectations were met

The Hotel is probably new, so very clean, stylish and modern. The staff is kind, especially the manager who can speak English very well and he is very helpful. He even told us a story about the crazy buildings without windows, which are close to the hotel. There is a nice swimming pool with relax zone on the roof. Good hotel restaurant.

The hotel gym is very basic. Location is a little bit far from the city centre.

Everything. The roof top pool was amazing. The room. Comfy beds. Water and coffee provided everyday. Rooms cleaned everyday. Accommodated us at breakfast because we did not like the Asian breakfasts. The manager and staff went out of their way to please you. He booked our taxi and ferry to the island. Not far from.the night market. We would definitely recommend this hotel..

Hotel is new and modern, very well equipped, swimming pool on the roof was just amazing. Good breakfast, especially vietnamese noodle soup with seafood. Lovely and smiling staff, flexible and helpful front desk manager.

We received fantastic help from the hotel manager and staff in a time of need. One in our family was injured in a traffic accident and the hotel helped with everything from hospital to extending our stay without any problems. Good swimming pool and area around. Good English speaking staff at the reception. Room was large and clean, the beds were comfortable.
