De locatie in de stad. Ontbijt was netjes.

De indeling van de kamer was niet praktisch. Geen afgesloten toilet. Bed was te hoog qua bedrand, onhandig bij in en uitstappen. Geluidsoverlast door raam op zijde van glasbak en opslagplaats horeca; van personeel wat blijft ouwehoeren en opruimen onder het raam. De temperatuur van de kamer was niet te regelen en onprettig warm. Koffie apparaat lekbakje was al vol bij ontbijt; roept vragen op over hygiëne bij opstart van de dag. Er was 1 stoel voor 2 personen. Douchecabine staat midden in de kamer. Privacy hierdoor slechter. Douchekop te laag en niet hoger te stellen voor langere mensen. Matrassen waren te zacht.

La salle de bain est littéralement dans la chambre, il n'y a absolument aucune intimité. Aussi notre voisin était bruyant et les murs sont mals insonorisés. Il a parlé au téléphone jusqu'à 1h du matin et s'est réveillé à 5h30 en musique a fond. Aussi, pas de place de parking proche de l'hôtel. C'est dans une zone piétonne.

The location is terrific - very close to everything in Hengelo. We also enjoyed the breakfasts (even though we had to pay an extra $120 as it wasn't included in the price). The bar/restaurant is also very nice. Cleaning staff are friendly and would provide us with more bathroom supplies when we asked.

Sorry - I don't like leaving negative reviews and did mention some of this to the staff when we checked out. But where to start. The first thing you see when entering the room is the glass shower cubical in middle - so don't open the door whilst your partner is in the shower! The room is all open plan so no privacy when you need to use the toilet. Plus - our room had an adjoining door but obviously wasn't solid which meant we could hear EVERYTHING! I had to ask our neighbours to turn down their music when they woke up at 5.30am one morning. The air-con also didn't work so given the high temperatures, it was really uncomfortable at night. No cupboards to hang clothes, an iron or enough clothes hangers. We were in town for a wedding so didn't have the facilities to iron our clothes, and sadly, we didn't really have the time to cancel and look elsewhere. In all, it was 'passable' but expensive given we also had to pay extra for breakfast.
