The location was near the racetrack, the bed was very comfy

The food was terrible. Ordered a steak and could not cut it or bite it, very expensive. Staff not that friendly or helpful. However offered £6 off bill, steak was £26, should of offered the cost of the very fatty tough steak. The cost to stay was quite expensive and no breakfast included. The room was supposed to be a premier room but didnt feel very premium

Check in was easy and a very friendly staff member. Room clean and comfortable had a good nights sleep. Food was good and a nice bar area

Breakfast was disgusting. Had to inform staff twice there was no bacon no fried eggs or scrambled, second time was told bacon would be another ten minutes. AWFUL service

The hotel staff were incredibly friendly and the breakfast was very nice.

I was disappointed to not get the double room that I thought I had booked, instead I was given a twin room. The building was quite dated, the kettle lid didn't close properly and the biscuits were not replenished even once in my 4 night stay (I ate the one individual pack of biscuits on the first night and thw room was booked for 2 people meaning we had to share ×3 bourbon biscuits). No bottled water in the room which was a surprise for the price of the stay and requested an extra £2 to add a decent coffee to your breakfast price.

I liked the fact that I could take my small dog to the lounge at breakfast time where staff very helpfully offered to hold him while I obtained breakfast. Breakfast is very good :) Room service was prompt. Staff are helpful and really pleasant. I had a great night’s sleep.

The Hotel is near Haydock Park Racecourse, which was my reason for visiting and so the location was good for me. The surrounding area is lovely and there are lots of fields. The facilities at the Hotel were excellent, particularly with the gym and swimming pool being accessible to guests. My room was very clean and the food at the restaurant was delicious. It was perfect for a night's stay and I would definitely recommend to others.

The view of the adjacent roof outside of my room window wasn't particularly amazing, but in no way did this affect my overall experience.

Good place to stop for trip from Glasgow to Bristol.
