Bar area was welcoming and reasonably priced.

Breakfast (full english) lacked quality components. Sausages were bland, ditto the beans and the lack of Black Pudding and hash browns contributed to an 'average' rating.

We all enjoyed an excellent stay at the hotel, the staff were great - facilities excellent, a perfect base for our adventures in Wales, the hotel bar is also good with reasonably priced drinks and superb bar staff. The parking is free too!

Nothing it was all good.

Well refurbished hotel in very nicely preserved Victorian built small town. It's in the River Severn valley so overlooked by green farmed pastures. No supper service, but very good vibrant pub 4 doors down with food service.

Breakfast not till 8-30 am. Too late for us, but you can ask for a Lunch/ Breakfast parcel instead. Yoghurt, crisps, sandwich, water...not a deal breaker.

B'fast was surprisingly good. Loved the little town. It was only a stopover, but magic The woodwork throughout the hotel was just right.
