Mar Hotels Paguera & Spa

Just back from a long weekend in Peguera. The hotel is lovely, in a good location but spoilt a bit by the ongoing roadworks (can't access the beach at the bottom of the road and have to walk around) and noisy. Once these are complete I expect it to be in a great location. I stayed room only as I wanted to eat in the many cafes and restaurants close by so not able to comment on the food. The room was a little tired - outside light casing was missing at one side and the other side light didn't work at all (room 2102). The shower screen leaked so the floor was flooded and the fridge continued to regulate itself and this kept me awake at night so had to turn it off. It was a very noisy hotel - this never helped with my room being next to the lift and the bar area. But it is an all inclusive hotel so I guess this is the norm. Lovely pool area in the hotel annex along with a good separate sunbed area. There was also a spa which I never used but the indoor pool was very busy. Had to pay to rent both the safe and the towels (deposit returned), but the reception staff were exceptional, especially the young lady (I never caught her name). I wouldn't return as there are more better located hotels in the area, but I did enjoy my stay.

Staff were super friendly and ready to help, special shoutout to Alejandro & Jesus, night shows were always good and team were always active and keeping everyone entertained. Food and drink were also good with a varied menu but also keeping some staple favourites.

Abbiamo trascorso un soggiorno davvero bellissimo .Hotel pulito ,camere comode e personale molto gentile e disponibile,ottima posizione e atmosfera rilassante .colazione e cibo molto buoni ,con tanta scelta .Ci siamo sentiti accolti dal primo all 'ultimo giorno .sicuramente lo consiglio a tutti anche per famiglie .

Animacje dla dzieci i dorosłych. Obsługa bardzo uczynna, pomocna i uśmiechnięta.

Boiska przy hotelu były mocno zaniedbane. Wymagały by posprzątania i zadbania o lepsza infrastrukturę.

Fantastic dishes, everyday another country food. Fantastic south american staff, smile, ready to help every moment. Big balcon. Fantastic cleaning in room and hotel. Good shows every evening.

Spa quality was not interesting.Swimming pool very small. No friendly French tourists.

Absolutely fantastic hotel. Food for all inclusive was varied and good quality. The breakfast chef did the best omelette, and was so friendly. It is a quiet resort which is very appreciated, and always a seat or chair available. Extremely clean and high standards of cleanliness adhered to at all times. Good size resort for those who are looking for a quiet getaway, and a few minutes walk to a quaint area of the village... This hotel deserves higher than a 4 star on Trip Advisor.
