Great Northern Hotel

The rooms were clean and tidy.

The rooms were exactly on top of the PUB and we couldn't sleep whole night. We reached late around 8PM and it was Chaos as you need to Check-In at PUB reception and the stairs were in the middle of the PUB so you can imagine the anxiety with family and all the luggage.

The second stay coming back was like coming home, as mentioned its great for a 1 to 2 day stay when you're travelling back and forth to your primary locations, but overall a great stay.

The Great Northern Hotel is a Pub with accommodation on the top, and it's a great place to stay while on a road trip with family, and you are only staying for a night before you get up the next day and continue your journey. They have comfy, clean rooms and great that you have food right there that can cover most people's dietary requirements, and we had decent food while we were there. The staff were great and easy to deal with.

The only thing that was a tad off was on our first stay, this stay, the family room had live cockroaches when we opened the door. It would be best to make sure the rooms are sprayed and double-checked before the guests come. Other than that, it was fine. The only reason i bring this up it affected my daughter, and she went and stayed in the second room with my mum This improved on our second night there when we were travelling back home

Virkelig gode senge. Pænt og rent på fælles bad og toilet. Søde mennesker på pubben, kolde øl og varm mad.

Byen Kempsey er ikke spændende, men i fornuftig afstand til seværdigheder.

Staff were great

It was quite expensive for a room without a private bathroom.
