High Mill Hotel by Mr and Mrs White

Staff were lovely & Grace at Reception very helpful. Beautiful boutique hotel & aesthetically appealing. Was given an upgrade on check-in.

No coffee/tea making facilities in the room. No tissues provided either in the room. No lifts, so be prepared to walk up & down stairs. Very noisy at night due to guests walking up & down staircase, talking loudly & echoing through hotel. If you like peace & quiet, this is not the hotel for you. Guests are not considerate. Slamming of doors in the middle of the night, even though there’s a sign inside doorways to be mindful. 15 mins walk to town centre. Buses don’t run on time so be prepared for lots of walking if you don’t have own transport. Very congested roads if you come with own vehicle & not much room for parking.

Das Hotel ist eigentlich schön angelegt. Die Zimmer sind klein aber ausreichend. Wir hatten eine schöne Aussicht auf das Meer vom Balkon. Das Personal ist hilfsbereit und freundlich. Sie haben uns Tips für Strände gegeben und wir konnten sogar Sonnenschirme ausleihen.

Das Bett war leider sehr hart und man hat die Federn in der Matratze gespürt. Auf Anfrage habe ich dann am zweiten Tag eine Bettauflage bekommen. Dann ging es einigermassen. Unser Freund im anderen Zimmer hat dann auch danach gefragt aber es hatte leider keine mehr. Der Poolbereich ist sanierungsbedürftig. Der Pool ist nicht ganz gefüllt und hat verfärbte Fliesen.

Rooms were spacious and the shower large. Balcony overlooked the pool and everything was as expected. Location an easy walk to town if you don’t mind that kind of thing. Breakfast had lost of options and staff very accomodating when arriving early/leaving late (stored luggage) and allowed to use pool and hotel facilities until room ready or ready to leave.

Drinks prices are bit exe 9€ for a beer!

washbasin is inside the room, and it could be better if it was inside the bathroom instead

The cleanliness, friendliness and kindness of all staff members, breakfast buffet and facilities were amazing. Location convenient and accessible to main town. Staff went above and beyond whenever help was required. Special thanks to Lefteris the Hotel manager, Grace and Victoria. You were absolutely amazing.

Extremely helpful and friendly staff. Good size pool, available sun loungers and garden seating for the size of the hotel.
