The noise from the street

There are two Hotel Lili's. I stayed at the one closest to the Plaza Caldas. It is located on the second floor above some shops in the historical center of the city. You have to walk upstairs where there's a locked portal. You have to buzz to get in. I requested a room with a balcony view and got it. The room was spacious, with large king sized bed, flat screen tv, closet space. on suite bathroom, small bedside table, and a desk with a lamp. It was very clean. The bed and pillows were the most comfortable I had during my three week visit in Colombia. The internet worked perfectly. There was hot water in the shower. The ladies attending the place were very kind and accommodating. Overall, it was the nicest room I stayed in and by far the best deal at only $11 per night! I stayed there three nights. I liked the room so much that I requested it and got it for when I returned from exploring the mountains and arqueological parks a week later. I stayed here one more night, so a total of four nights. I don't know how the rooms are located on the inside of the hotel. Not sure if they have windows and a view. But this room with a view was wonderful. Just be aware that there is some noise from the traffic below, but that is easily shut out by closing the shudders and curtain, and the city shuts down by 10 pm so there's not any noise after that anyway. I can definitely recommend Hotel Lili! One of the best deals in town!!

You have to walk upstairs where there's a locked gate. You have to buzz to get in every time. But that's actually a good thing to maintain security, even if a little inconvenient. I gave the hotel a rating of 9/10. The only thing that kept it from getting a perfect score was that the shower curtain had a mildew odor on it. I mentioned this to one of the attendants upon checking out the first time and she said they'd take care of it. When I returned a week later from exploring the mountains I got the same room, and the shower curtain had not been changed. But this was a minor thing. I loved my spacious room, with huge bed, and balcony with a view.

Very basic hotel with good security.

The room was very hot, no fan and you couldn't open the window due to the street noise. The water heater for the shower stopped working on the last day.

Friendly staff, good location, budget friendly, comfortable bed, clean and fully functional bathroom and good service.

No complaints, it was all good.

Huge rooms with private bathroom, which were very clean. Towels and soap provided. Beds were so comfortable! Coffee and teas available. Balcony was a nice extra with great views of the city. Staff very welcoming.

Being right on one of the main streets it could be quite loud on an evening - but not a fault with the property itself 😊
