Penventon Park Hotel

We very much liked our hotel rooms - they were spacious and beautifully decorated. Our beds were very comfortable and we slept well. The rooms had everything needed for a pleasant stay. Breakfast was very good and the staff was outstanding. Always friendly and very attentive. We also enjoyed swimming in the pool and using the jacuzzi and sauna.

There is some construction happening around the hotel, which we weren't aware of. It's not noisy, it just means there are some unattractive fences around the property. We missed having a nice terrace to sit outside. There is a terrace but you face the parking lot with many cars. The little terrace in front of our room is not so inviting to sit on either, as you can look into people's bedrooms. The actual garden is very small. The pool area did not quite look like in the pictures - there were no cushions on the loungers, making them somewhat uncomfortable to lie on.

The staff was all very friendly and supportive. The dinner at the restaurant was absolutely delicious. Rooms are spacious and shower fine too (great products). Thank you!

Pillows we're a little hard.

Staff were very attentive and did everything to ensure our stay was perfect.

The room was perfect for myself. The service very good. Food was excellent. Hotel and grounds very nice. The spa ( i had a facial) was very relaxing.

It would have been better to have some form of lift as my friend has trouble with stairs. The pool side was grubby and dated. The sheet on my bed was for a single bed, I was sleeping in a double!

Room was a little dark but that was mostly due to the gloomy weather, otherwise beautiful!
