Cedro Rojo

Location, in front of the nicest cute restaurant. 10 minutes walking from downtown

Nothing to cook, no water pressure, nothing to make even a coffee, no place to wash the dishes, no fridge anywere. Not enough toilet paper. Tv doesnt work. No light to be able to prepare. Only one plug for electricity in a strange not practical place.

Confortable bed, clean, nice courtyard w hammock amazing coffee shop across the car park

No lake access close by, fair way from town

While I did try and find a reasonably priced place in a good location, there were a few things that could be improved. The one good thing was the restaurant across the street Alhambra was awesome (open at about 8:30). Cedro Rojo isn't far from the beach or downtown and is a quiet location. A night or 2 is ok until you find something else...

The lights in the bathroom didn't work and toilet paper was not freely given. The towels had holes in them. There wasn't any decent coffee made available (instant). The hammocks in the center were mostly used by staff and their friends and family. The bed was not great.

Nice residential area with few boutique hotels around. Comfortable and clean.

We booked a king room ahead of time but none were available when we arrived so they put us in another room which was fine, but we were beside a 5 person group that stayed up drinking in their patio until 12:30 am and kept us awake. Obnoxious loud talking at 12:30am. So frustrating and annoying. We were moved to the king bed room the next day, and finally we got a good nights rest.

Nice room in a quiet location.
