Great hotel right on the lake! We stayed as a stop on the TMB and this was a wonderful place to rest and reset after lots of hiking. We literally walked across the street to jump in the lake. Both of our rooms had massive balconies that looked out at the water. The shower/sink in our bathroom had some issues, but the staff was friendly when things came up. Overall a very charming hotel with lovely people running it! Champex Lac is adorable!

The bathroom/sink in one of our rooms did not drain and the showerhead was a bit broken. There was also a stain on our sheets but they addressed it very quickly and kindly!

Perfect location, big nice comfy rooms with sun terrace and very nice people that run the hotel.

Before we even arrived, Charles was communicative and helpful, offering to stay late to accommodate a later check in for us if our hike was delayed. Everyone was polite and eager to make our stay wonderful, the food was fantastic, and the view from our room was to die for. I've stayed in hotels in a dozen countries, and this is one of the best.
